At The Employment Advantage, we want to help you get back to work fast There are numerous job search strategies and techniques, many of which you may not even be aware of. Some people start by searching the classified ads, but many jobs are not advertised there. You can learn many ways to increase your chances of finding the right job for you. Let us show you how.

90-minute information session
To help get you started, we invite you to our free 90-minute information session. You’ll learn about each of the programs and what they have to offer. We cover topics such as job search strategies, skills training, resumé writing, interviewing, career planning, self-employment training, and so much more.
We also provide you with The Employment Advantage Toolkit: a package full of resources and connections to any employment-related service you will need to assist you in your job search.

One-on-one appointment
You may want assistance deciding on your next steps or require a referral to some of the many other programs and services available to you in Durham Region. This is where our knowledgeable and friendly Employment Specialist can help.
We can arrange for you to meet with an Employment Specialists for a One-on-one appointment to help you explore exactly what you need to get you back to work. Together, we’ll design a Return-to-work action plan. And we’ll be here to follow up with you until you find a job. One-on-one appointments are available in French. Click here
